Health services at JCC
Jamestown Community College’s Health Services promote health and wellness through nurse-directed care and wellness counseling. Our registered nurses in each health center can treat many minor health conditions and illnesses and evaluate the need for emergency care for students, faculty, and staff.
Available services
You can make an appointment with Health Services for help with the following:
- Over-the-counter medication (acetaminophen, ibuprofen, antibiotic ointment, antacids)
- Blood pressure checks
- Dressing changes and wound checks
- Sprains, strains, and muscle problems
- Headaches, general illness
- Urine pregnancy tests and free condoms
- General health and wellness counseling
- Physical and health assessment
- Referrals for further care in our community
- Employee blood draws (with valid script)
Prescriptions for medication are not available at the health centers.
Schedule an appointment or walk-in
Contact Health Services to speak with one of our nurses. We will triage you over the phone and recommend care. We offer face-to-face visits as well as secure Zoom video appointments for less serious issues.

Our mission
The primary mission of JCC's Health Services is to provide quality, holistic, nurse-directed care to allow students to perform physically, mentally, and optimally to achieve their academic goals. Additionally, Health Services aims to provide evidence-based health education and timely information; manage, modify, or remove health related barriers to assist students in developing health-conscious lifestyles; and enhance their intellect, growth, and development as they become responsible future stewards of society.
